Now; as the world looks toward a greener future, Taranaki’s innovators are starting to look at new ways to diversify. Our friends at Wayward Hops are pioneers at the new western frontier - the movement toward ‘Green Gold’ - growing distinctively Taranaki Hops that taste a hell of a lot better than the black stuff.

Brewed with Nelson Sauvin harvested direct from Cam and Laura Elam’s Holmdale farm at Wakefield. We have been good mates since they set up their hop farm in 2017. Their family has farmed Holmdale since 1856, the second oldest farm to be continuously run by the same family in the Tasman area. From cutting of the bine to hitting the brew, it is less than two hours so fresh hop intensity is fantastic.
