For over 100 years our place here in Te Aro, Wellington, has been a favourite meeting place for locals. We love being a part of the community and we are ready to throw in the hard yards to make sure everyone who visits us has a great experience. We stock approximately 40 different bottled beers.

Here at The Southern Cross we love taking care of our guests - and what better way to show that than with food! We believe in cooking from scratch, offering top-notch nibbles, mains and home baking. We recognise that using fresh, local produce wherever possible results in a great dish for your plate. We're happy to be able to offer you a great range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free kai. If you have any dietary quirks, please don't be afraid to sing out! We use only free-range eggs and pork in The Southern Cross kitchen.
