Golding's Third Birthday

It’s three years since we first opened our doors to the people of Wellington!

It’s been a lot of good beer, a lot of Cheezels and so many great times! Come help us celebrate with more beer, more extruded corn, and even more fun.

As per tradition, we’ll be turning our taps over to the staff, who will be choosing a beer each to put on tap. Come on down and share their favourite beer with your favourite bartender!

Pizza Pomodoro is open all day. There will be rolling beer specials, and all the bottomless corn-snacks you can handle!

Event starts midday, Saturday 23 April.

O Canada! Canada Day at Golding's

Golding's Free Dive invites all Canadians and FOCs (friends of Canadians) to come and celebrate Canada Day 2015 on Wednesday July 1st.

You'll have the pleasure of mingling with real Canadians whilst enjoying Canadian themed decoration, music, movies, beverages and traditional fare. We will be featuring some tasty treats made by us here at Golding's, as well as contributions from Leeds Street Bakery and Wild & Woolly Brewing Co.

Make sure you bring your best denim, plaid, toques and all things red and white, and if we like your outfit you may get something special! We look forward to seeing you all here to celebrate the great country of Canada.

Beer is Love, eh!

International Sculpin Day

We’re happy to announce that our friends at Beer Without Borders have got their hands on very limited supplies of three different versions of Ballast Point Sculpin!

To celebrate, we’ll be taking part in National Sculpin Day. On Friday (24 April) we’ll be pouring Sculpin, Grapefruit Sculpin, and Habanero Sculpin.

Supplies are strictly limited, and will be going fast!

Golding’s Free Dive Turns Two!

It’s our second birthday! Come help us celebrate our second anniversary this coming Saturday (25 April).

As per last year, we’ll be turning our staff loose on our taps. Each staff member will nominate one beer to put on tap. Unlike last year, where we collaborated to have a balanced lineup, this year it’s a free-for all, with absolutely no restrictions on what they could choose.

So come on down and share a their favourite beers with your favourite bartenders.

Will it be a Peckham’s Indian Summer with Steve? A Victory at Sea with Owen? Perhaps a Gunnamatta with Phil, a Superconductor with Sean, a Kereru Velvet Boot with Béatrice or a Renaissance Stonecutter with Gen?

It might even be some of the last ever keg of Silver Cat Angry Gummy Bear White Stout with Dylan…

There will also be rolling beer specials throughout the afternoon.

See you on Saturday. And remember, as it’s ANZAC day, trading kicks off at 1pm.
