2nd Female Brewers Showcase & Sensory Beer Tasting

Written by

After having a successful event showcasing the brewing efforts of Beer Baroness, Tiamana and Mata last year we have decided to host a second event with an even larger roster of brewers.

At Moon we always like to have good and interesting beers on tap and we're pleased to have an ever growing number of female brewers to choose from. Every one of them produces great beer, regardless of gender and that's what we like to celebrate, great beer. We'll have quite a line-up for you, with all tastes, hoppy to sour, light to dark catered for!

Expanding on last year, we've stretched one day to a whole weekender, from the Thursday to the Sunday. We start off with Annika from Tiamana running us through an intro to tasting off flavours in beer and why they exist ($10, Thurs 6:30pm Limited spaces) ending with a show from Nicole Andrews on Sunday evening (Sun 6pm $10)

The full line-up of events:

Thursday 6:30pm
Sensory Beer Tasting with Tiamana

Annika from Tiamana is running a tasting course with a twist; this is beer that you don't want to drink!

Ever wondered why some beer tastes off or like it's gone bad? This tasting picks up on a few problems in beer and with the off flavours isolated, in capsule form, you can now find out what they are and how they occur.

There's only a few spots so e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to reserve your space, payment on the day which gets you access to the tasting and the beer for experimenting with.
